Zen Doodling 4ZEND18

Tutor Merle TAIT

What is Zen doodling?

It’s a way to have fun, to relax and relieve stress or mind chatter. It’s a meditative tool … suitable for all ages and opens a way to become more creative.

It is a similar experience to when as a child you would doodle on a scrap of paper by repeating a shape or line many times with no pressure or thought requiring you to draw like an expert.

If you can draw a circle, a line, a triangle, or a squiggle, you can do this class. You will be shown step by step how to build up repeated patterns, add some variations of size, colour and contrast till a design appears.

It’s fun to watch a design grow.

Bring along paper or A5 drawing book, gel pens, black fine liner (very fine) and a grey lead pencil.
