ENROLMENT FAQs

MRFEC Accepts Online Enrolments.

  • Payment Types Accepted
    Online – debit/Credit card If you select to pay by Bank Transfer you will need to manually do this via your banking app and forward payment to the MRFEC account supplied in the 'Payment Info' at the bottom of your Tax Invoice. Over-counter payments by card are accepted during office hours. Cash payments are not accepted. Cleared payment is required to secure a place in a course or workshop.
  • Receipts / Class Confirmations
    Once your enrolment is processed, receipts and class confirmations will be emailed to you.
  • Concession Holders
    Concession price is available for Pension or Healthcare-card holders for government-funded programs (ACFE). A Victorian Seniors Card is also accepted for non-funded programs generally our lifestyle and leisure courses (please ask reception for confirmation). If enrolling online, your concession/pension/ seniors’ card must be presented at our office or emailed to enquires@mrfec.net.au prior to commencement otherwise we will ask for your card when you arrive for your first class.
  • Adult, Community & Further Education (ACFE) Subsidised Course Fees
    Subsidised course fees are available for students who are ACFE eligible. To be eligible for ACFE funding you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident. If you are unsure if you are applying or an ACFE course contact the office for assistance.
  • Leisure and Lifestyle Courses
    Leisure and lifestyle courses are open to all people interested in learning a new skills, hobby or interest.
  • Withdrawals
    Notice of withdrawal from a course must be given 8 working days prior to course commencement. A $50 administration fee will be incurred for cancellations less than 8 working days before commencement of a course. Contact enquiries@mrfec.net.au or call 5428 3799 asap.
  • Cancellations of courses by MRFEC
    Course commencement is subject to sufficient enrolments – minimum and maximum class sizes apply to all courses. In the event of a course cancellation, all fees will be refunded in full by direct payment to your nominated bank account.
  • Course Materials
    Your class may require materials, please read the course outline online at www.mrfec.net.au. If you are unsure, please contact reception for assistance well in advance of your class starting.
  • Code of Conduct
    Macedon Ranges Further Education Centre (MRFEC) is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment. The Code of Conduct applies to all students, staff, tutors and visitors at MRFEC and aims to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of everyone accessing a course or service.
  • Privacy Statement
    Protecting your privacy and your personal information is important to us. It is the policy of MRFEC to maintain the highest level of confidentiality of the information it collects from its students.
